A recording from Karen Salmansohn's live video.
Okay so this is one of those Substack friendship stories that makes me love Substack. Blue (from the inspiring Reinvent Your Life) read my essay about having coffee with my 90-year-old self, then wrote me a note about enjoying it. And what started as a friendly DM correspondence turned into an actual friendship, then turned into a let’s do a Substack Live together.
Here are a few of the things Blue and I chatted about today:
The quote that accidentally changed Blue’s entire life
The one sentence she repeats to herself before every big leap
What a windsurfing instructor once taught me about facing fear and being brave
The two feelings that always travel together and absolutely refuse to be separated
What it actually means to be a beginner again …at any age, including whatever-age-this-is
If you’ve been waiting for a little extra nudge from the universe to do something brave… this recorded conversation might be it.
