Noemi Kis · The Entrepreneurial Mindset

It was October 2023.

I had just walked away from by biggest failure. A business I’d committed 2 years and too much money to mention without embarrassment.

I spent a couple months reflecting and was ready for my next “thing,” whatever that would be.

So, I hired a coach to help me grow my personal brand on LinkedIn.

My thinking was simple: if I create a brand online, I could probably launch another business at some point. At the least, I’d start sharing my thoughts, experience, help a few people, and give myself the creative outlet I’d been craving.

An hour into my coaching call, I had templates, instructions on how to write hooks, create a carousel.

Off I went with high hopes and excitement as I imagined myself as a thought leader well-known for sharing her wisdom online.

Then came the rude awakening.

I was faced with the fear of being visible online.

Entrepreneurs are only afraid of 2 things when launching:

1. Nobody will see it.

2. Someone will see it.

I was battling with the latter.

I started with “safe” posts that didn’t require me to share anything deep. Mostly motivational and inspirational quotes. Books I liked. Frameworks I learned over the years. It was slowly starting to work.

Here’s what I learned:

Soon, I got my first troll. Someone saying my worst fear out loud: “you are not good enough to write.”

Being afraid of criticism kept me hidden and when it happened, it lost it’s power. It stung for a day then I moved on. And it also meant that I was finally doing something worth having an opinion about.

So I kept going. I kept focusing on what I was doing right.

I believed in what I was doing. (before anyone else did)

I started being comfortable being seen.

I started writing from my heart.

I started my newsletter.

I did a TEDx talk.

I scaled my brand sponsorships to 6 figures+.

It’s now become more of a comfort zone. I realize that a lot of writing online is also clarifying for myself who I am for others. What parts of me are valuable for others to hear.

Here’s what happened:

  • October 2023: Started writing on LinkedIn as a newbie.

  • October 2024: 82,354 followers

  • October 2025: 155,222 followers and 6,185 newsletter subscribers

Not because I cracked some code. Because I stopped hiding and started standing for something and using my voice.

Here’s how you can do the same:

Step 1: Pick your platform

Decide where you want to start writing. LinkedIn is still a great platform to start and grow a personal brand. It also has high value B2B leads to build a business.

This is where most people get stuck, they know they need to start, but the setup feels overwhelming. (if this is you, keep reading)

Step 2: Learn how to write online

You can hire coaches or take a course. Skip months of trial and error and learn from someone else’s mistakes and successes.

I took Ship30 and learned a ton from Nicolas Cole’s content. Practice makes perfect. Test your writing online to see what is resonating most with your audience.

Step 3: Create a lead magnet

This is a freebie for people to download in exchange for their email. An example is my 200 AI Business Ideas. Thousands of people have downloaded it and gave me their emails in exchange.

Make sure the lead magnet fits your offers similar value so you get the right leads It’s best to have this set up as an automation through an opt-in page like Stan Store or Gumroad.

Think of the funnel like this:

Your postYour profileYour lead magnetYour email list (optional) → Your offers

People see your content. Check out your profile. Download your freebie. Get on your list. Some become clients.

Simple as that.

The real step is Step 0: Decide to be seen.

Not perfectly. Not polished. Just seen.

That’s when the trust starts building. That’s when someone will message you months later saying “I’ve been following your stuff” and you’ll realize, you’ve been building something the whole time.

Something I’ve never done before:

I don’t offer 1-on-1 work. I’ve built my business to be scalable and automated. But I’m opening up a few spots to work with a select handful of people to build their LinkedIn funnel from start to finish. (Profile, Content, Lead Magnet, Automations)

Why? Because I’m developing a step-by-step DIY course that can help people at scale. But before I build that, I need to work through the process with real people, to refine the system before I can make it scalable.

So if you’re one of the few I work with, you’re essentially getting the premium and done-for-you version of what will become a digital DIY course.

If you’re ready to apply: Start here.

Who I am:

I’m a recovering 9-5’er who’s run a multi-7-figure ecommerce business for 12 years. I built 30+ No Code AI apps and grew to 155K LinkedIn followers in 2 years.

I help founders launch and scale using AI and Automation.
