Hello dear readers,
I hope summer brought you new fond memories to cherish.
Where has the time gone? Looking back at my last post, it’s remarkable reflecting on how much has shifted, changed, and manifested since then.
On a personal level, I moved into my new home - a space that feels so ‘me’, safe, light, and aligned.
On a professional level, I’ve been conjuring up a vision, something close to my heart and one that feels deeply connected to my higher mission and purpose.
Open Hearts Club is a space to inspire and guide us in connecting to our heart space, to remember our true essence and connect to our higher purpose, through conversation, enlightening experiences, and community.
This is where big change for good happens.
The last few years for me has been an exploration of finding the tools to living a life well lived, full of love and abundance. I am a curious soul and truth seeker, exploring philosophies from around the world.
And do you know what the consistent ‘key’ always is?
The heart is the gateway to greater peace, compassion, higher frequency, and our higher self - where our essence and wisdom reside, guiding us to our true path.
Can you imagine how different the world would be with more of that?
I feel the world needs more open hearts, now more than ever before.
That is my mission and calling with Open Hearts Club.
The exciting news is that our first ever Open Hearts Club event is coming up very soon on 5th October in London - a transformative and traditional cacao ceremony.
Cacao, a natural heart-opening plant medicine, feels so fitting for our first event. A sacred way to open and initiate this heart-centred mission together.
The ceremony will be led by Chloé Dal’olio, trained in Guatemala, using sacred ceremonial cacao from there.
I will be there to welcome you and experience this together with you - I can’t wait to meet you in person!

Witnessing Open Hearts Club come to life, with our first event fast approaching, has been a wondrous process - one I feel so deeply grateful for. Over these past few months, I’ve received countless divine winks and synchronicities, gentle confirmations encouraging me to keep believing in this vision and mission.
If you’ve ever received an idea that simply demanded your attention, you’ll know the commitment it takes - the focus, the faith, the devotion to bringing it to life. And you’ll also know the surreal, indescribable joy when that idea finally becomes a reality.
Of course, the form the idea takes is different for everyone - a project at work, writing a book, or even a recipe that turns out better than imagined. Whatever shape it arrives in, it’s nothing short of magic.
Elizabeth Gilbert captures this feeling beautifully in her book Big Magic, describing a rare, magical experience while writing:
“Something is carrying me along — something powerful and generous — and that something is decidedly not me.”, “I only rarely experience this feeling, but it’s the most magnificent sensation imaginable when it arrives. I don’t think there is a more perfect happiness to be found in life than this state, except perhaps falling in love.”
Open Hearts Club for me has been just that - feeling held, guided, and supported by something much bigger than me to bring this into the world.
As Nelson Mandela taught us,
“it always seems impossible until it’s done”.
One of my favourite artists, Chris Martin, has often described his process of writing music as coming from beyond him:
“if you work with songs you definitely know that music is coming through you, it’s not really coming from you”, and “they are just like their own things that you happen to catch. Because you just know that it’s nothing to do with you.”
How beautiful, inspiring, and reassuring to know that we can be vessels to receive ideas and visions - whatever form they take - from something beyond us. Perhaps all we need to do is open our hearts to receive them.
Many teachers and wisdom seekers have shared the power of the heart with me:
Bali: A kind Mangku (high priest), with glowing eyes and a gentle smile, told me: “Niomi, listen to your heart. It knows the way.” He drew two dots on opposite sides of his whiteboard, “This dot is where you are now, and this dot is the end destination. There are infinite paths to get there, and that’s down to your choices and decisions through life. But, if you listen to your heart, you will always find the way.”
India: My meditation and philosophy teacher spoke of the Anahata heart chakra as the bridge between worlds where the lower three chakras and the upper three chakras meet - the heart is where healing happens, where we meet our true selves.
Ibiza: I sat in a circle around a fire, under the stars in the forest, guided by a cacao facilitator from Mexico through sacred ceremony. We called in the support of our ancestors, set personal intentions, and held the cacao at our heart centre. Taking that first sip of the smooth chocolatey cacao, I felt a subtle flutter in my chest - like a butterfly waking in the centre of my heart, or a rose slowly blossoming. A sensation I continue to feel every time I open my heart.
London: During a crystal bowl sound healing session, I felt vibrations swirling around my chest, bringing with them messages and the crystal-clear clarity I had been searching for.
What a gift it is to know that we all have access to this wisdom within ourselves - the heart truly is the gateway.
