Happy Wednesday, witchy one.

Whether you’re reading this with your morning coffee, your lunch break sandwich, or hiding in the bathroom from your family for five minutes of peace (no judgment — sacred space is sacred space), today is our reminder that on Wednesdays… we do spells.

Not because we have to.
Not because magic demands a schedule.
But because midweek is when the weight of the world tends to hit the hardest.

By Wednesday, we’ve been:

  • empathic sponges,

  • problem solvers,

  • emotional support cryptids,

  • and everyone’s unpaid therapist.

So today’s spell is soft but fierce — the Pink Egg Cleansing Spell, perfect for releasing the emotional residue we’ve absorbed from people, politics, the news cycle, family stress, workplace drama, and vibes we never asked for.

Because the world is loud right now.
Because compassion fatigue is real.
Because no matter how strong and magical we are, we still get tired.

And maybe, you’ve been:

  • Taking on other people’s feelings

  • Feeling responsible for keeping everyone stable

  • Absorbing energy from social media, arguments, or trauma in the collective

  • Carrying guilt that isn’t yours

The Pink Egg Cleansing works with:

  • the softness of pink (love + healing)

  • the boundary of the eggshell (containment + release)

  • the alchemy of cracking open what no longer serves

It’s like saying: I can care about people without sacrificing myself.

And honestly, that’s the spell most of us need right now.

You’ll need:

  • 1 egg (white or brown)

  • Pink dye (food coloring is fine)

  • Candle (pink or white)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Rosewater — or water with a drop of honey

  • Marker or pen

  • Bowl

Optional boosters:

  • Rose quartz, rhodonite, pink calcite, or angel aura quartz

If you’ve got the egg, you can do the spell.
Everything else is flexible.

In a small bowl of water, add:

  • Salt (purification)

  • A little red food coloring (pulls out stagnant emotion)
→ When diluted, it becomes pink (softness + love)

Let the egg dry.

Say (aloud or mentally):

“As this flame burns, what is not mine begins to dissolve.”

With your pen/marker, write on the egg:

  • A name

  • A situation

  • A feeling
    or a catch-all phrase like
    “All That is Not Mine.”

Share

From crown to feet, slowly.

Say:

I release what I did not ask to carry.

You might feel heaviness, tingles, heat — totally normal.

Crack the egg into the bowl.

Pause a moment.
Not in fear or superstition — in acknowledgment.

You’re witnessing the transfer.

Sprinkle salt onto the egg.

Say:

This ends with me.

Dispose of it — flush, bury, or trash away from the home.
Then wash hands in rosewater or honey water.

  • If you cry afterward — that’s release working.

  • If you feel sleepy — your nervous system is recalibrating.

  • No candle? Use lamplight or screen glow — intention > perfection.

  • Egg allergy? Use a pink stone instead and bury it to release.

  • If you feel nothing — that’s okay. Energetic shifts don’t need fireworks.

Magic shouldn’t feel like homework.
If you show up — the spell works.
