Hello Foxes,
It’s lovely to be with you all again. With summer in full bloom, I’m reading like a fiend — I’ve finished something like five books in the last week. No plans to stop anytime soon, either, though I might have to slow down just a touch so I can do a bit more writing!
I’m also deep into my cooling beverage obsession. This week I’m living on iced Stash Ginger Lemon during the day, and spicy Sayso Margaritas of an evening. As always I’m on the hunt for more drink recipes, so please share if you’ve got a good one!
Our recent road trip to the Oregon Coast helped with the reading time, since I don’t do the driving.
I think I shared last time that I’m working on putting together the omnibus edition of Hotel D: The Wests. Right now, I’m on the hunt for the perfect cover image, and I haven’t quite found what I’m looking for. I don’t quite know what I want, yet, but I’ll know it when I see it. If you are one of the readers who digs collections, keep your eyes peeled. While I’ll keep working on it over the summer, expect that the collected edition will release in the fall.
The other thing I mentioned last time is my sorta-kinda-secret-but-not-really-secret next writing project.
For the past couple of years, I’ve released a boozy-themed rockstar romance (Talk Vino to Me and Old-Fashioned Lover, respectively). Because I’d focused my writing attention on Hotel D, I thought these would live on their own as a duet. Then my brain got busy, as it does, and inspiration struck hard.
Long story slightly shorter: the rock gods of Courage will ride again. This one should also release in early fall. More to come on this fun little series very soon!
