Hey everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well.

It’s the bank holiday weekend here in Ireland, so today feels like everyone’s easing themselves back into normality. We headed down to the Kingdom, County Kerry, for a few days away, and as you’ll see from the photos below, it really is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

It’s been a family tradition for a long time. It’s funny how some places never really change. Every time we come back, it feels familiar, comfortable and the perfect place to unwind.

The drive is about four and a half hours from our house, so by the time you get there you’re definitely ready to stretch your legs! But it’s worth every kilometre.

The first few days were absolutely glorious. Sunshine, blue skies and perfect weather for long walks, a bit of golf and just taking in the scenery. Then, in true Irish fashion, the rain arrived and when I say rain, I mean buckets of it! To be fair, the ground desperately needed it after such a dry spell.

It looked scorched.

There’s something magical about Kerry. It almost feels like it has its own little climate. The woods are stunning, the lakes are crystal clear, and the coastline is just spectacular. People always say the Gulf Stream gives Kerry slightly milder weather than the rest of Ireland, and after all these years of coming here, I wouldn’t argue with that.

There’s different plants that I don’t see anywhere else in the country.
