Province launches cross-government strategy for better outcomes

Investment will expand services throughout B.C., provide additional direct funding to families

Families throughout B.C. will have access to new and expanded programs that support healthy relationships and prevent domestic violence, thanks to new funding that enhances community-led intervention services.
The Province is strengthening safety planning, helping families stay connected, while mitigating safety concerns for children and youth.

On the one-year anniversary of the release of the representative for children and youth’s (RCY) Don’t Look Away report, the Province is providing an update on its co-ordinated cross-government work across several ministries to better integrate social services and move to a more prevention-based model of support for children and youth.
