In the mid-90s a friend approached me about painting a Divine Feminine tarot deck. I was honored and said, “Sure.” However, the time was not ripe for me to embody the transmissions into art. It took many years for me to know it was time.
In 2004 I began to channel goddesses onto canvas. Mother Mary, Madonna and Child, and other emanations of the Holy Mother began to flow through my fingers onto canvas. I was opening portals to the love and consciousness of the Divine Feminine and the Goddess. She let me know she was alive and well and there to bring healing, not only to me, but to the many drawn to her love and her energy.
Finally, in 2006 I went to Rome to experience the Goddess pre-patriarchy. I embarked on a journey called “Conversations with the Goddess,” with two 70-year-old artisan scholar women, Lydia Ruyle and Meinrad Craighead. Each day we awoke to hear the stories of the goddesses in the region of Old Rome, as well as other stories of the Goddess from around the world.
By the end of our two weeks together, Lydia give us the parting message:
“We’ve heard his story, history. Now it is time to tell Her Story, Herstory. Just do it!”
And with that I returned home, clear that it was time to paint the Divine Feminine deck, the Mythical Goddess Tarot, with my dear friend, tarot expert and channel Sage Holloway. As soon as I landed in Fort Collins, I called her and told her, “I finally got the message. Let’s do this!”
Over the next 18 months I worked side by side with Sage to paint 78 paintings for the tarot deck, as well as design and publish the deck by October 2008. As the deck moved out into the world, it became a bestselling tarot deck, bringing the Goddess and the Divine Feminine fully forward into the birth of the Aquarian Age. Many responded in recognition to the goddess stories and divine feminine art combined with the wisdom of the map of the tarot. The feminine was here to stay, to awaken, and to restore something within each soul and within humanity.
I tell you this story to remind you there is magic going on right now. And it has been going on for decades, and for much longer periods of time, to heal humanity and restore the Divine Feminine within each soul.
This restoration has been taking place alongside the chaos and collapse of the linear, patriarchal models of achievement and domination that have patterned our planet and our lives. The trauma and fractures created through suppression, anger, hatred, war, and endless expressions of conquering are asking to be healed through compassion, truth, love, and a renewed reverence for all beings.
Even as chaos seems to escalate, we are living in a time of profound transformation in human consciousness. Astrologers have spoken of the movement into the Aquarian Age. Indigenous wisdom keepers, mystics, spiritual teachers, and ancient traditions have carried their own prophecies and understandings of this time of awakening and change.
We are here now. And we are not simply watching this transformation take place around us. You and I are part of it.
One of the most important aspects of this shift is the restoration of the Divine Feminine. The Goddess is awakening within human consciousness, and she is awakening within you.
For thousands of years, humanity knew the Divine through both feminine and masculine faces. The Goddess was honored as creator, mother, healer, lover, warrior, wisdom keeper, protector, destroyer, and giver of life. She was found in the earth and the heavens, in birth and death, in the cycles of nature, in sexuality and creativity, in love, intuition, healing, and mystery.
Although much of the Western world eventually separated itself from her, the Goddess never disappeared. She remained within our myths and stories, within cultures that continued to honor her, and within the deeper layers of human consciousness. She also remained within you.
Her awakening is not asking you to return to an earlier age or recreate an ancient Goddess culture. You are living now, within this remarkable transition into a new age of consciousness. The invitation is to discover what it means to embody the feminine within the life you are living today.
The Goddess Within
When I speak of the Goddess within, I am speaking of the Divine Feminine that lives within your soul. This is not dependent upon whether you are a woman or a man. Feminine and masculine consciousness live within you, and both are sacred.
The feminine awakens as you honor your intuition, inner knowing, and the wisdom of your body. You may experience her in the way you create and receive, nurture and protect, imagine, love, and listen. She also lives in your awareness that you are in relationship with other people, nature, the earth, and something greater than yourself.
Awakening the feminine is very much about embodiment. It is one thing to believe that all life is sacred. It is another to experience the sacred within your own body.
It is to trust yourself. To become present in your own experience rather than continually looking outside yourself for someone else to tell you who you are.
You are here to live this in your everyday life, present in your body and your breath.
Sophia Wisdom of the Divine Feminine
For the last year I have been transmitting Sophia Wisdom through the Rose Flame Temple teachings after an activation I experienced in Egypt in 2025. Again and again, these teachings have returned me to what we are being asked to remember and embody.
As you read the following, notice what touches something within you. What feels familiar? What are you already living? What is asking for more of your attention?
You Are Worthy
Guess what? You came into this life worthy. There is no need to earn it, prove it, or achieve it. Contrary to what you may have been taught, your worth is inherent to your soul. The feminine within you knows this. As she awakens, you remember what has always been true.
You are worthy.
You Are Creative by Divine Nature
You are inherently creative, a spark of the Creator/Creatrix. Creativity is life moving through you, whether you are making art, growing a garden, creating a home, nurturing a relationship, building a business, or imagining a new direction for your life.
The feminine knows how to listen for what wants to be born and how to carry something before it has a finished form. Trust what wants to create through you.
You Are Powerful
As the feminine reawakens within you, you remember your own sovereign power aligned with Divine will. This is not power over another, nor does it require force, control, or domination. It is the freedom to know yourself, make your own choices, honor what is true for you, and respect the sovereignty of another.
Your power lives within you. You are free to be fully and authentically yourself.
You Are Love
The Divine Feminine expresses love through compassion, kindness, mercy, and healing, and she can be fiercely protective of what is precious. Mother Mary and Kuan Yin reveal one face of this love, while Sekhmet, Durga, and Kali remind you that love can also have boundaries, speak truth, and say no.
You can love deeply without abandoning yourself. Divine love and personal power can live together within your heart.
Your Voice Sings
As the feminine awakens within your soul, your voice opens to truth, love, and authentic expression. You heal the places where you learned to silence yourself, hold back what you know, or make your voice smaller for others.
As you listen more deeply within, you hear your own truth and give it expression. Your voice becomes part of the song you came here to sing.
Your Sight Opens
As you embody more of your feminine soul self, your inner sight opens beyond the surface of what is happening around you. You begin to see with intuition as well as your physical eyes, recognizing the deeper patterns and soul truth within your experiences.
You become the oracle of your own life, trusting what you see, sense, and know.
You Remember Union
As the feminine soul body awakens, you come into greater alignment with your soul self and your human self. The Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine find union within you, opening you to greater wisdom, consciousness, and connection with the Divine.
You are still fully here, living your human life, but you experience yourself as something more. Spirit and body, soul and self, human and Divine are no longer separate.
A Feminine Consciousness for a New Age
You have entered the Aquarian Age at an extraordinary moment in human evolution. Technology, communication, science, community, and consciousness are rapidly changing. Every day you can witness great possibility and potential during your lifetime that your ancestors could never have imagined.
As I speak this I want to bring attention to the wisdom that you chose to be here at this time, and that you are part of how the new world, the new ways, and the future unfolds. Your consciousness is the creative factor for what the future becomes.
Embracing the return of the divine feminine within your own journey is the journey to a more harmonious reality. It is the choice live in love. It is the choice to create with love, truth, discernment, and freedom for all. It is a time to choose harmony over chaos.
As humanity becomes increasingly powerful in what we are capable of creating, wisdom is the path. As technology connects us across greater distances, the quality of our relationships matters. As our ability to alter the natural world increases, so does the importance of remembering that we belong to the earth, and that we must create in harmony with her.
We are not here to go backwards to find the Goddess. We are here to sense how she lives in our own being now. We are all here to carry her forward in our bodies, our thoughts, our hearts, and our choices.
You may already recognize this awakening within yourself. Something that once felt acceptable no longer does. Something you have known quietly is becoming harder to ignore. You may feel yourself becoming more creative, more discerning, more willing to honor what is true for you. You may simply feel more of yourself returning.
Pay attention to that.
The Goddess can meet you through the ancient stories and the many faces that have carried her presence for thousands of years. She can meet you through Mary, Isis, Sophia, Inanna, Kuan Yin, Sekhmet, Magdalene, or another face of the sacred feminine that speaks to your heart.
Yet the relationship does not end with the Goddess you encounter outside yourself. She leads you into relationship with the sacred within you.
I am here to remind you:
“We’ve heard his story, history. Now it is time to tell Her Story, Herstory. Just do it!”
