If you look up today and notice that the sky looks hazy, well that’s because it is. Wildfire smoke is filtering back through the region in the upper atmosphere. Shouldn’t cause any big problems. The bulk of it is running well to our south.
The rest of the week kind of follows the trend we have been seeing. Warm, moderately humid, with a chance of showers and storms typically later in the day. Not overly oppressively hot, but not a cool day to relax either. Just enough heat and humidity to make you sweat in the first 5 minutes of walking outside, but not enough to make you seek shelter from the Super Mario 3 sun.
Friday, a batch of moderate rain looks to skate south of New England and out to sea. Swing and a miss for us.
The next opportunity for a good soaking rain is Sunday and Monday of next week as of now.
