Today, I want to share something new with you.
Over the last few months, I’ve been building a podcast called How Words Work with Jack Fox. It grows directly out of the work many of you already know me for, but it focuses on something I think really matters.
A lot of the language used in lying, manipulation, and avoidance doesn’t just show up when bad people are being dishonest. The same words and patterns show up every day when people are trying to explain themselves, defend themselves, or sound reasonable. And when we use that language, it often works against us. It creates doubt, weakens authority, and makes us harder to trust or listen to.
Each episode looks at one of those patterns, explains how it works, and shows how removing it from your own language can help you speak with more clarity, authority, and credibility. The aim of the podcast is to strengthen how we come across when we talk. It’s to sound honest, solid, and worth listening to.
If you care about language, credibility, and how you come across to other people, I think this will be right up your street.
The podcast is now live.
Many of you know that getting this kind of thinking out into the world is something I’m deeply passionate about. If you’d like to help with that, the simplest way is to give the podcast a listen and follow or subscribe on your podcast app. If your app allows it, a like or rating really helps in these early days.
That support helps the podcast reach the people it’s meant for, and I genuinely appreciate it.

Thanks for reading (and the support!)
