Praxis News, a private browser for English-language news for iOS, is now available on the Mac App Store as a free app.
Powered by the same underlying code, this is a cross-platform app that will receive all future updates on both platforms at the same time.
Identical UI and functionality is available for iOS and Mac, with one exception. The system-wide Open in Praxis share extension from the iOS app is provided as a web extension for Safari on desktops.
Enable this extension in Safari Settings > Extensions, then click the moustache button in the Safari toolbar any time to open that URL in Praxis.
A Chrome version of the extension is available on GitHub and can be installed as an unpacked extension (instructions in the README).
