The spring season started March 20 and ended early June 21, if you kept track.
And so it’s time to celebrate the past season with my quarterly look back at some of the outfits I wore during that time.
It’s a colorful time and I blended a mix of pastels and bright colors. Let’s take a look.

When I think of spring, I envision nature’s colors blooming like Iowa’s flowers.
It’s a time we cast aside the cold, snowy days of winter and get outside.
Derby Day was one of those days. I spent mine at Prairie Meadows, wearing a fun dusty rose suit with bright blue and yellow. My bow tie featured yellow ducks against a blue background. If only my bets won as much as my outfit did!
