Not every national park adventure happens on the trail.

Sometimes the best way to stay inspired between trips is by picking up a great book. Whether you’re planning your next adventure or simply dreaming about future travels, these are a few of my favorites

A beautiful look at the history of our national parks, packed with incredible photography and stories.

One of the best resources for discovering new parks and planning future trips.

A fun and inspiring memoir about visiting every national park in the United States.

This hilarious book combines real one-star national park reviews with stunning artwork. It’s funny, clever, and surprisingly inspiring for anyone who loves the parks. It’s one of my favorites!

This whole series is perfect for travelers who are always looking for their next destination, scenic drive, or outdoor adventure.

If you’re looking for trip-planning inspiration, I’d recommend the National Geographic Guide to National Parks. If you want something fun and different, Subpar Parks is hard to beat.

Happy adventuring.
