The Punjab government has decided to restart recruitment in the province’s educational boards after a 15-year break, with the process of filling vacant positions now under way.
According to officials, several educational boards, including those in Lahore and Faisalabad, will hire staff for various vacant posts to address their workforce needs.
The available positions include computer programmer, assistant, senior computer operator and other technical and administrative roles. Posts of deputy secretary, assistant secretary and estate officer will also be filled.
In Lahore, recruitment will be carried out for 33 positions in grades 16 and 17.
Authorities said the appointments will be made through the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).
The recruitment initiative is expected to help overcome staff shortages in educational boards and improve their administrative and technical operations.
