First Blog post on Substack

Excited to be here! I’ve been working on my Infinity Bureau project for a while, and feel I’m closer to pushing out the next part and beginning some puzzles and such. It’s a world building/story project with ARG elements and I’m very excited to be at this stage! I feel I will use Substack for it’s blogging purposes so I can get some thoughts out and talk about current stages and ideas. I don’t want to post spoilers here, but I think teases are fine.

First, I’m developing a website to help me push further and collect my works in one place. I believe it’s a good idea, as I’ve noticed Youtube and other platforms are getting pretty AD heavy, and full of more AI slop. Listen, I like the concept of AI, robots and all that jazz. But of course greed got involved, and now it’s damaging lives and I can’t in good conscience be okay with that. AI as a tool to assist in your daily life with automating certain tasks and scripts I think is okay, but not replacing actual jobs and stealing from other people’s work. You wouldn’t believe the amount of Voiceover jobs I’ve received for training AI models! Anyway, let’s move past that.

What I’m working on is a passion project, I’d love it if it makes me money, but that’s not my primary focus. The focus is to create a fun and imaginative project that uses stories in a number of ways (not all just words on a screen for example), craft puzzles and ARG elements for players to solve, extra hidden lore details if people want it, collaborate with others etc.

The reason it hasn’t had more releases sooner: My brain is chock full of some of these ideas that will be going in, so I’ve been doing some preliminary work to make this process easier for me going forward. Another major stop has been money. I’ve done the Youtube thing mostly full time for about 2 years, and although it was great money at first, it didn’t stay that way. I’ve been job hunting for a few months now, and it’s been stressful for sure. I know I’ll get into a better state, and from there things will get easier. But I haven’t abandoned this. And I don’t feel I ever will.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I don’t have a set schedule in mind for anything yet, still doing some learning and research, but Moon Blinked Part 2 is nearly ready. And with it, the next steps begin.
