Natalie Borton · In the Details

A friend of mine sent me an old photo of us over the weekend and it was actually painful to see how tight I used to wear my pants. Now that I’m older and wiser I know better — long live baggy jeans and oversized clothes and soft fabrics. And never, ever, ever be afraid to size up.

I’m trying something new today with the start of an on-the-go series: Outfit Diary. Super original, I know. I’ve always been one to love a clear and literal title for things. Let me know any and all feedback as I develop this series!

Here’s a snapshot of what I wore today, along with links for you:

Three quick parting notes for you:

  1. I do not plan to email the future Outfit Diary posts. Since I will aim to share them (almost) daily, they’ll simply go live and live here on Substack in the Outfit Diary section for you to reference unless I end up switching this to a weekly series. I don’t want to bombard your inbox.

  2. I now offer a paid subscription to In the Details, and 100% of those profits are donated to charity. Donations will be made quarterly and I will provide regular updates on the impact we’re having through our shared contributions. When you upgrade to a paid In the Details subscription, you will be supporting Chamber of Mothers, the largest nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to winning federal paid leave, affordable and accessible childcare, and improved maternal health outcomes for all Americans.

  3. Posts will automatically be archived for free subscribers after 2 weeks. I believe you’ll still be able to access previous posts in your inbox, but they will only be able to be viewed by paid subscribers on the Substack website or app. Just wanted to be sure to give you the heads up on that.

Thanks for being here!

xx Natalie
