On September 23, 2025, we organized a slime-making event for Dawg Daze, the University of Washington’s welcome week for incoming students. We made purple slime to signify overdose awareness and prevention. We talked about the work we do at UW and how students can get involved. This event was both fun and informative!
We tabled at the UW Student Activities Fair on September 24. Interested students learned about the work we do on campus and around Seattle and how they can get involved. We handed out free Naloxone to the UW community. We enjoyed meeting new students who are passionate about addressing this epidemic!
On October 7, 2025, we will be organizing a harm reduction training event for the UW community. Join us to learn how to recognize and prevent overdoses. We will also tackle some of the stigma and misinformation associated with the opioid epidemic.
