I don’t know about you all, but I am constantly adding to, removing, and tinkering with my shopping wishlist. It is no secret that I shop…A LOT. But I do try to make thoughtful purchases and buy items that I will own and love for years.
I thought it might be fun to share the luxury, splurge-worthy items currently at the top of my dream shopping wishlist. Will I be buying any of them this month or any time soon? Probably not. But maybe one day!

I want to try to be better at investing in fine gold jewelry I can wear every day, in contrast to buying a fancy heel or item that I only wear a few times a year…
This ‘family ring’ from Fewer Finer has been on my radar for months.
I tried on Madison Snider Podpirka’s the other week when we had dinner and it reconfirmed my love for the style.
I think I would engrave each side with the initials of everyone in my immediate family and maybe do a side or two of diamonds. I love the idea that wearing the ring daily would mean I always have my family ‘with me’ - it feels symbolic and deeply personal.
In a very different jewelry direction, I also keep thinking how great it would be to have a chunky gold ring with a colorful gemstone. Maybe a peridot or tourmaline stone?
I am not sure what brand would be best for this? (Please share any and all suggestions!)
Starling came to mind as a possible source but they are LA-based, and I think I would really want to shop for this in person.
I was texting about this with Priyanka Aribindi and suggested Real Fine Studio (also an LA brand), but they do some NYC pop-ups and just announced a NYC event in mid-September. I quickly singed up for an appointment at the upcoming pop up, so that will be fun to see their pieces in person. (I’ll be sure to document / report back!)
Or maybe I should consider Arielle Ratner - her pieces always look so stunning and I could probably make an appointment to go shop / see their items in person in NYC.
I also came across a brand name Charlie & Marcelle via a Instagram Ad and they seem to make some beautiful three stone rings with gemstones.
I don’t own a leather jacket. Is that odd? It just doesn’t really feel like many are my style, or at least I haven’t come across one that feels very ‘me’ yet.
However, I love the idea of finding a great brown suede jacket to wear this fall and beyond.
On the pricier side, I like the look of this belted style from Sloan (a ‘new to me’ brand) or maybe something from Nour Hammour; this cropped style caught my eye.
Does anyone own anything from Nour Hammour? Have you been happy with the quality?
Or maybe I veer away from brown and consider this boxy green suede jacket from Max Mara or this green shirt style from Theory.
But then I think this might not be the best category for me to invest in (because will I really wear it enough?), so maybe I should look at Sezane or this nice-looking Zara option.
I want to find a pair of really great-fitting classic navy or black trousers - to me they feel a great closet staple that work for countless occasions.
I have a pair of Tailored Trousers from Attersee that I love (see me in them here) but they are a touch too tight so I don’t wear them as much as I want to.
I call them my ‘standing pants’ because they’re really only comfortable when standing…which isn’t ideal. I have them in size 14 and think I need one size up..but 14 is their largest size…
I do have a great pair of ivory trousers from Molly Moorkamp (see me in them here and here) so if she ever launches this Collins pant style again in black or navy I will probably buy a pair as I already know they fit well.
I also own the Effortless Pant in Navy from Aritzia (a good under $200 trouser option) but I just don’t think they lay quite right on my body..there is just something that doesn’t look quite right when I wear them. But maybe I just need to keep testing it and wearing them until I figure it out?
I think the ideal purchase would be to reach out to Gina Bespoke and make a custom pair of trousers with her.
Gina’s pricing is usually very similar (if not lower) than designer brands, and her items are made custom to you; precisely to your measurements/preference.
Gina has made me a few blazers and jackets, and they are some of my favorite pieces!
I would also LOVE to one day have a chic A-line midi skirt made, but I don’t think this would have as high a ‘cost per wear’ as black trousers…so hopefully I do this one day but probably not before I start with pants.
For a skirt, I envision myself going to One Of, as all of Patricia’s dresses and skirts look beyond stunning, and I love how she primarily uses deadstock fabrics.
I feel very set in my winter coat assortment when it comes to classic styles (navy, black, etc.), but in my ‘ideal wardrobe’ I love the idea of having one or two great statement coats that really become the outfit.
A Lily Eve Upcycled Trench would be a dream (she uses vintage Hermes blankets to make amazing one-of-a-kind coats!) For New York gals - go to their showroom on Madison Ave, it is fun to see all the different styles and colors.
And who wouldn’t love a super chic, well-made animal print coat?
This leopard style from Toteme looks amazing — I want to go try and see it in person / try it on.
Or do we like this Cheetah Coat from Róhe more?
This new Ivory Jacquard Coat from Kallmeyer looks beautiful, but oh my goodness, I would stain it so quickly (white gives me anxiety!)
While all these wardrobe items are top of mind, the better financial choice might be to PAUSE on all this fashion shopping and focus on my wishlist items for my home.
First up on my home wishlist is the Eight Sleep Pod Mattress Cover - I have been thinking about buying this for weeks on end. Have you all heard of it? Tried it?
Essentially, it seems to be a sleep-tech product you add to your mattress/bed for a better night’s sleep. The mattress cover connects to a ‘hub’ you plug in by your bed, and it lets you cool and heat your mattress (with controls for each person’s side of the bed) and tracks your nightly sleep.
If you know me personally, you likely know I am a notoriously bad sleeper; I wake up multiple times at night and constantly toss and turn to get more comfortable. And I get HOT when I sleep but I also like to be really cozy under a great duvet cover..so finding the right temperature is a constant struggle.
My brother and sister-in-law have not only the Eight Sleep Pod but also the adjustable base and they are obsessed with both!
I mentioned Eight Sleep on my Instagram stories the other week, and oh my gosh, I got SO SO many DMs back with rave reviews. Countless of you messaged me saying YES, I should splurge on this, and that you love yours.
I did not get any negative reviews in my DMs but my friend Sarah Lederman was skeptical of how the ‘hub’ will look in my bedroom (which was a valid question), but I think/hope I can pretty easily hide the hub out of view by my nightstand and laundry basket.
The catch — buying an Eight Sleep is like buying a fancy designer handbag… For my king-size bed, it will be over $3,000…!
But you all know me; I fully support investing in a great handbag, so I figure I should support something that can help my health and sleep, right?
In concept, I know that YES, a purchase like this is just as fitting, if not probably a smarter choice. Yet, I am feeling a bit timid about it… Maybe because I’m typically wary of ‘wearable tech’ or anything that overly tracks what we do.
For example, I bought the Oura Ring a few years back, wore it for a month or two, and then gave up on it and never wore it again…
The other item on the top of my home shopping wishlist are new dining chairs.
Right now, I have these wicker dining chairs from IKEA. The chairs worked as affordable option to buy three years ago but I think I am ready for an upgrade to something more comfortable and classic. (The wicker on the IKEA chairs is not very comfortable to sit on for very long…) I’m thinking chic, maybe Scandinavian-inspired wooden chairs with soft cushion seats and backs.
I need to do a deep dive and a good bit of research to find the right chairs (and ideally I would love to sit in the chairs I make a purchase), so stay tuned. I need to dive into the search and I will aim to report back when I narrow it down to a few options.

I want to get an elevated grey crewneck sweatshirt (I love vintage jeans paired with a grey sweatshirt and ballet flats.)

I would also love to buy a good oversized denim button-down; this one in the dark denim is currently in my shopping cart. While I browse the styles at AYR, I am tempted to also order this red striped long-sleeve.**

I keep seeing gals wear this pretty under-$100 earring and I think I might need to grab a pair!
This week I ordered these casual corduroy pants in navy and green. I heard they run large, so I bought two sizes to try; I’ll report back once my shipment arrives.
Has anyone tried the new bra style from Eby yet? I love my other bras from them, so I suspect I would like this too. (I buy my true size XL.)**
I want to buy these low-profile sneakers in green or maybe burgundy. I can always use more comfortable shoe options and I feel like these could be great when running errands or bopping around NYC.
