I'm swimming 5 miles in May to help the American Cancer Society fight cancer. I've lost loved ones to cancer, and the lives of many I love are affected by cancer.

I can't cure cancer. I did conquer my life-long terror of water to learn to swim. I can complete 5 miles this month to raise awareness of what is possible through commitment, effort, and faith.
