Notes on Magic, Work, and Wonder | Canadian Conference, Tarot Lab, All Hallows Eve

Have you noticed the Sun is moving further South? Here in San Diego I can definitely see the change in the quality of the light. Fall is near.

2. In 2024, both Erika and I were presenters at the Kingston Tarot Lenormand Conference, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Marilyn Shannon, the organizer, does an unbelievable job at herding us cats, getting everyone fed, and putting on an incredible conference. This year the conference is from November 13-15, 2026, and features Heatherleigh Navarre, Carolyn Cushing, Lori Lytle, and Donnaleigh de LaRose. I HIGHLY encourage you to attend. The lucky winner will receive the All Hallows Eve Tarot from Tarot Collectibles. I received notice today that the deck had shipped from England and is now in the U.S.

6. Laura Tempest Zakroff did a Kickstarter called The Lantern, with my friend Stacey Williams-Ng. It was a two-deck project, with one titled By Land, and one titled By Sea. It’s a play, of course, on the ‘lantern in the tower’ letting American colonists know if the British were coming by land or by sea. I received my By Land yesterday and absolutely love it. I think By Sea will be here in a month or so. In any case, you can pre-order either deck right now if you missed out on the Kickstarter.
