What a busy month! The start of October brought me to Ancient Arts Festival in Pittsboro. The tattoo and oddity vendors were so welcoming. It felt like a homecoming to be in this crowd. 🖤

I’ve been working on large articulations, each with its own unique flair. A few name tags were sadly lost in processing the bones, but where possible, the skeleton comes with the rabbit’s name and photo. The bases are reclaimed offcuts from a contractor.

For the rest of this year, all Myoflorae sales will be donations entirely and directly to local programs working to support local farmers and families experiencing hunger. First is Tall Grass Food Box’s Life Work Campaign. TGFB specifically uplifts Black farmers in the state. Should the Life Work Campaign meet its goal, the second is Farmer Foodshare. Local Food Purchase Assistance funds have been gone, and the need for food is set to increase this weekend. Farmer Foodshare often needs volunteers to pack boxes in Durham, if you’re looking for non-monetary ways to help out.

The bones: fuller articulations are priced $125-$200. Smaller pieces are around $40-60, with partial articulations (spines) at $75-$100. You can request photos of what is in stock (more than pictured here) or schedule a time to come see these pieces for pickup in Chapel Hill.

These lil guys feed our family. What an amazing gift for them to feed twice.
