Encore une expression à comprendre et à maîtriser pour avoir un bon visuel sur son site web.
Le concept signifie : "avoir son contenu principal au dessus du pli", cette expression se réfère aux journaux, qui sont toujours présentés pliés, et dont le contenu "critique" doit se trouver sur la première page, au dessus du pli!
Il en va de même pour votre site web :) Essayez donc de mettre une petite claque visuelle à votre utilisateur, ou au moins placer toutes les informations les plus recherchées ou attendues par votre utilisateur, dans la première partie de votre page (le concept peut s'appliquer à toutes les pages de votre site). On donne une zone de 768px pour définir cette partie de page "above the fold".
