Welcome to everyone who recently joined this mailing list from the Sacrimony #9 Kickstarter! Some of you are still waiting for your books to arrive, while others may have already started reading or are already done binge reading.

Either way, I’m glad you’re here.

Every week I send out my newsletter, Tales from the Goat Man, where I talk about the story, life updates, production updates, cat updates and whatever other updates need to be… updated.

I’m really happy to say that I’m almost done shipping out all of the rewards for Sacrimony #9. There’s about 11 packages left and they’re going out tomorrow. It’s been really satisfying to have boxes of books come in, open them up, pack the goods into smaller boxes and send those out.

On the life side of things, this year has been crazy. I’ve gotten medical treatment for and rehomed so many cats and kittens already and I’m sure there’s more to come by September and October.

That’s ten, plus a few weeks before the Sacrimony #9 Kickstarter, I mentioned little Cinnabon who I was supposed to be fostering, but…

Pumpkin loved her so much I had to keep her!

He’s never liked any cat I’ve fostered but for some reason, when Cinnabon was plopped down in front of him he said “I MUST TAKE CARE OF THIS BABY!!!” and immediately began to groom her. So I was legally obligated to keep her. They’re now inseparable. Womp womp.

Earlier this year, there was also someone’s obviously abandoned house cat that I named Hugo Boss, because he was always bossing me around. For a few days, I noticed him walking around outside my house and screaming at all hours of the night, so I knew he needed help. I thought he would be hard to trap but he just walked through my front door and let me pick him up. 😂

I really wanted to keep him, but he didn’t get along with other cats so he needed to be an only cat. That and, for some reason he gave me allergies! I’ve never been allergic to a cat in my life! Totally not fair…
