You know, I doubt this one is to the taste of a lot of listeners here, but I've been really enjoying it. Relaxing vibes, a gentle sound, which makes for a very pleasant start to the morning. This was originally released as a self-published CD, which is quite scarce now, but thankfully yan has put it up for free on his Youtube channel.
This is part of Hardfloor's collection of rarities that had never been released on their own. I was turned onto it when a friend was talking up a soundtrack that happened to have licensed this third track, and while I've never actually played the game it is a great track. Interesting new album from Greg Foat, who I've played on here before . This one's a collaboration with a Greek traditional music trio, blending in both instruments and a lot of musical styles of traditional Greek music. I've played the second volume here before, but I actually haven't owned the first until now. I stumbled across this in a very cute bookstore in Squamish this weekend; nice to have the chance to hear the companion volume. Listening to another Namiki soundtrack the other day put me in the mood for some more. This is the last of the three CDs that came with Ketsui, and it's a bit more of a straightforward arranged version of the original album . I'm not quite as fond of this as the original; its greater focus on the rock elements means it's missing a bit of the melancholy sound of the original. I do quite like that…

This is the soundtrack that turned me on to Panarama, who I played yesterday . This soundtrack was composed by Hermann Weindorf, one of the two members of Panarama, and it's a mix of songs by the band itself and other 80s pop in a very similar vein. This is some very classically 80s pop; I have a soft spot for this sound, corny as it can be.
