Environmental activism can take all sorts of forms.
It could be marching with a placard alongside other like-minded people. It could be making an impassioned speech. And then you’ve got the stuff that can get you arrested - chaining yourself to a tree or gate, glueing yourself to a road, or chucking paint on something of cultural significance.
I don’t do any of these.
Instead, I’ve found another, easier way to get my voice heard.
It’s what you might call ‘boring activism’. I say this because it does not make for a good photo opportunity, or an exciting story to tell your friends. But it can be done at your kitchen table with a cup of tea - no need to stand in the rain or in the cold. Plus, it’s perfectly legal - encouraged, even!
