Is anyone else obsessed by traditional cottages nestled away from the general hustle and bustle of life?
Every time we go away I find myself standing in-front of them dreaming that one day I could actually live in one myself.
I think it’s a dream I had which has stemmed from when I was a kid watching The good life. Having to be self sufficient with the nearest grocery shop being an hours drive away.
Not the most practical in my current situation with two teenage boys still at home but maybe one day…
I’m a big believer that taking a rest is paramount to your businesses (and your life’s) success.
This week, I’ve stuck to my guns and taken a few days ‘off’ to visit Pembrokeshire in the camper. The costal paths never fail with their rugged beauty and secret bays.
Unfortunately no signings of seals this time which have been prevalent in years gone by. Maybe I was just a couple of weeks early this trip. But I did meet a rather friendly wild house who took a shine to me (and my apple in my bag)
It gave me the chance to put the finishing touches to something I’ve been working on for a while to help interior designers increase your monthly profit whilst working less hours in the process.
I’ll be running this every month and you’re really not going to want to miss this if you’re fed up with selling your Interior Design expertise for peanuts. I’ll drop the link below to find out more…
I do love a mooch around an art gallery, and when I saw that the Chinese artist Ai Weiwei was in town with Button Up!, I hot footed it on the train into Manchester to go and have a look, and I wasn’t disappointed.
The thing I love about art exhibitions is that they’re thought provoking. They take your mind away from whatever it is that’s going on and let you fully immerse yourself in something completely different for a while.
The overarching thought for me though was, how on earth did he transport this installation all the way from China! But that’s my practical mind working overtime I guess.
I hope you’re weekend has been good too.
