How I got distracted again, and the result

Hi all!

Last year I joined the first Appendix N Jam, but I had too much on my plate so I never finished more than the cover.

I still plan to finish it, but it’s on the larg pile of works in progress.

This year I decided to try again. I only had to pause my work on the Unease, my solo journaling game, for which I paused working on Look to Starward, my Vancian adventure game, for which I paused continuing on the Forever Never, my next Meddlesome Kids game (Pine Shallows meets Narnia/Oz/Neverland), for which I paused my solo actual play of Pine Shallows.

There might be a pattern here…

I got a very nice title this year, although I must admit I had to look up what ‘rime’ means, not a native speaker!

So without further ado, I present my OSR ice crawl for the Appendix N Jam 2026:

4 pages of oldschool fun in the style of Nate Treme and Skullfungus (amongst others).
