Make It Then Tell Everybody!

I was SUPER honored to be a guest on Dan Berry’s fabulous MAKE IT THEN TELL EVERYBODY podcast last week to chat about the old school webcomics community, the trouble with nibs, and inevitably, breast cancer! I used to religiously listen to this podcast years ago while driving to work, and the combination of Dan’s soothing, calm voice (although not bereft of sass!) and a comics guest nerding out about process always made me feel like with comics I was ... actually doing something? Not just something frivolous, and not something high and mighty, but look there’s actual thought and love and intention and skill behind how we’re choosing to express ourselves via this comics medium! It was also a great reminder of the One Main Thing a lot of comics (and arts folks in general) struggle with - the “Then tell everybody” about your work part!
