I haven’t written in a while because… well, I’ve been living in the ashes of my Phoenix Era (what I’ve renamed the Dark Night of the Soul). In addition to nesting with my deep grief over losing someone I love, I learned that there’s a name for what I’ve been experiencing these past few years — a Kundalini Awakening. I’m not ready to talk about it and the words aren’t coming anyway. Instead, I’ll leave you with these two images from my new favorite tarot deck that pretty much sum it up.
In about a week, though, I will peel myself off the couch to co-host our fourth Neuroscience & Spirituality event at the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Annual Conference. If you’re in San Diego, stop by.
