Very excited to have model and creative, Juliette Labelle, taking us through all of her favorite things today! I’ve definitely screenshotted many of her outfits over the years (and have also asked where she gets her amazing hair done), so I’m excited to share everything she’s been loving lately.

What city are you rooted in at the moment and what does a typical day look like for you?

Los Angeles and Paris, always. I’d love to spend more time in New York though. My days are pretty simple, I wake up, get coffee going, pack my daughter’s lunch, wake her up, get dressed, have breakfast, do the school drop-off, then head to work. After that it’s pick-up, dinner, bath, and reading. It’s very grounded and I love it.

You have great style. What are your favorite basics right now- favorite white tee and favorite jeans. And we will add in sunglasses because you always have such great sunnies!

Thank you! I live in Buck Mason. The new Toughknit tee is to die for, and I haven’t been able to take off the Original jeans. For sunglasses, I wear Thistles and I’m dying for a pair of Jacques Marie Mage.

Any other favorite pieces (or brands) right now?

I’m really loving what Charlie Beads is doing, Sophie Bille Brahe and Erin Meuchner for jewelry, I’ve been saving for the Elsa Peretti bone cuff, Jude for shoes, and The Row always.

Anything specific you are adding to your Spring/Summer wishlist?

Honestly, all of the above. I’m in a phase where I’m investing in pieces I’ll keep forever.

What does your self-care and wellness regimen look like these days? Any rituals you swear by?

Most nights I fall asleep before I even wash my face.. BLASPHEMOUS behavior, I know.. but I swear by the Osea vagus nerve oil and pillow mist. My daughter and I actually look forward to it every night, it’s become our little ritual.

What are your current top shelf skincare items? Your repeat purchases, keep coming back to items etc. Facials/devices and treatments can be included in this as well.

Environ has been a total game changer for me. I had zero skin barrier and now I’m on level 3. My facialist Frankie put me onto it and I’m obsessed. I also love the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream, it’s a splurge, but right now I’m using the Osea rich cream at night and really love it. The Eadem Mami face mist is always in my bag, and the Avène Cicalfate Restorative Protective Cream is my go-to for any kind of rash or irritation.

Continuing on with the subject of beauty & skincare, what are your top 3 favorite makeup products right now?

The Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in Intemporelle, I genuinely feel naked without it. The Erborian tinted moisturizer, and the Ilia Multi Stick. That’s pretty much my whole routine.

You have the best hair! Any hair secrets or favorite products?

Thank you! I love the Roz shampoo and conditioner, I’m obsessed with the Crown Affair leave-in conditioner, and I use the Filament hair mask a couple times a week. It makes my hair feel really rich and soft.

In this newsletter, I share my latest screenshots and invite others to share theirs. What are some things you’ve recently screenshotted on your phone that you’re excited to try or have been eyeing lately?

I subscribe to Evie Henderson’s channel on Instagram and she does such a good job rounding up products, both high and low. I’m always screenshotting things from there. I’m also endlessly inspired by my team at Buck Mason, Brittaney Martel in particular. I’m usually taking photos of her mood boards because she always has the best references.

Which artists are you currently inspired by? Is there a particular piece of art in your home or one you’re hoping to add to your collection?

I’m honestly most inspired by the people around me right now. My team, the way they think and create, feels very inspiring.

That said, I’ve always loved Claude Monet. I’m aware that’s a bit basic, but it’s true. The first time I visited the Musée de l’Orangerie and saw the water lilies, I felt something really profound. It was incredibly calming. Even though the room was full of people, I somehow felt completely alone, like it was just for me in the best way. It’s one of my favorite places in Paris and somewhere I go every time I’m there. Also, my daughter’s art and that of her friends, it’s wild and free and uninhibited of the limitations we place on ourselves as we get older. Her art is imaginative and surprising.

What are you currently reading? Or a book you would recommend to your friends.

I wish I had more time to read, hopefully this summer. I recently read Strangers by Belle Burden and initially loved it, but the more I think about it, the more conflicted I feel. I found myself frustrated by how long she allowed herself to be a passenger in her own life, but I also really admired the way she eventually took her power back. I’m also listening to Famesick by Lena Dunham and I started to listen to ACOTAR... again... DON’T JUDGE ME. I’m a sucker for smut.

What are you listening to on repeat these days- song, album, podcast or artist?

A mix of Justin Bieber, Nina Simone, and Fela Kuti.

Current favorite snacks + supplements in the fridge or pantry?

The peach fruit bars from the farmers market, anything from LA Grocer, and I love a PB&J. I’m not really a supplement girlie, I prefer to get what I need from food, but I do try to stay consistent with magnesium.

Huge thank you to Juliette for taking the time to share some of her favorite things! You can follow her on Instagram here.

Running to buy some Buck Mason pieces and that hair mask…thanks for reading x
