Signed, sealed, progressing. Transfidelity has officially signed a contract with CerebrumDAO on 31st of March, taking a major step forward in addressing the underlying causes of neurodegenerative diseases.

Funded through Molecule's IP Protocol, the project raised 76.461 ETH from 41 funders, including VitaDAO, CerebrumDAO, BeakerDAO, and individual contributors. This funding allows Dr. Dimitri Scherbakov and Dr. Rashid Akbergenov to refine their research on improving protein translation fidelity, potentially preventing protein aggregates linked to Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other neurodegenerative diseases.

What’s next? With the contract in place, research accelerates, the project is set to kick off soon. A future where we prevent, rather than just manage, neurodegenerative diseases is getting closer.

For more details on the project, check out the project summary video.

All projects have a negotiation period after funding is complete, and if negotiations fail, Molecule’s IP Protocol will return the funds. The contract negotiation window for "See The Difference" has expired. If you participated, it's time to reclaim your funds:

We’re excited to see Molecule named as one of the top DeSci projects in CoinGecko's latest DeSci video, which explores how DeSci is transforming research, data sharing, and making science more accessible.

Alongside Molecule, VitaDAO and pump.science are also spotlighted as key players in the ecosystem. Don’t miss out, check out the video and see how DeSci is shaping the future of scientific discovery!

We’re exploring how IP shapes the future of science, innovation, and control.

In our latest episode, we sat down with Graham Pechenik, founder of Calyx Law, and Chris Byrnes, Molecule’s IP Legal Advisor, to discuss the role of patents in psychedelic research. We covered the controversies of corporate control, the push for open-source models, and how these issues affect researchers and startups in the psychedelic space.

In the previous episode, Sara Holland and Mark Nichols joined us to talk about AI, IP, and biotech. We explored the barriers to biotech innovation, the role of patents, and how DeSci might be key to advancing progress.

And stay tuned for the upcoming episode with Chris Byrnes and Jesse Hudson, two of Molecule’s lawyers, as they discuss “IP as cultural infrastructure” and how to build science that’s open, collaborative, and sustainable.

The pump.science store is officially live, featuring research-backed longevity and performance supplements, and the first product drop is here! Urolithin, a molecule linked to improved mitochondrial health and healthy aging, is now available for pre-order.

This marks a new phase for pump.science: moving from onchain experiments to real-world products, turning lab-tested compounds into longevity tools, powered by community-led science.

Molecule will be at DeSci London from April 12-13, 2025! If you're around, be sure to look for our team with the Molecule merch on and come say hi!

See you there!
