Let’s talk about Love.
That shimmering, challenging, elusive bedrock of our Being.
We could list all the types of love, couldn’t we? Parental, romantic, passion for our work, for our country, for our Gods, for our incredible planet. And so many more. What about the love of simply being alive, the love of art and beauty, love of justice and truth. Love for our fellow humans.
The love that shows up as a ray of warm sunlight on our cheek, the smile of a stranger, the laughter of a child, the breathtaking Aurora on a frosty night, a dedicated researcher furthering our understanding of the other beings who share this world with us.
The sweet scent of clover, the abundance of fruit on a vine, sparkles on the waves, treasures in a museum illuminating our shared heritage. Technology that connects us and institutions which help, support and champion us.
Books and plays, dance and song. A warm blanket knitted and donated. The protectors, the helpers, the communicators and comedians.
All springing from Love.
Love which is the most courageous act we step into and show up for. Love which is eternal and at its heart, unknowable. The most powerful imperative in the Universe. And we have the choice to exist within that power which moves worlds, every moment.
