No, it is not Valentine’s Day and it is not our anniversary, but I have to give my wife her flowers. These past two months reminded me just how incredible she is. She trained for and crushed her first half marathon, then turned around and flew to Thailand to share the Gospel. Watching her shine has been pure joy, and I am grateful every day that she is my wife. ❤️🥹

Jacksonville, Florida
Right after getting home from Nigeria, I (Brandon) barely had time to breathe before flying to Jacksonville for a pastors conference. I shared Wycliffe’s Adopt-A-Verse program, which gives churches a simple way to help fund a book of the Bible for communities still waiting for Scripture. By God’s grace, the pastors responded in an incredible way and the entire book of Ephesians was fully funded for a language community in East Central Africa facing persecution. 🙌🏾

Columbia & Central, South Carolina
The following week, I headed to Columbia International University for Career Week. I have poured into this campus for several years now, and it is been amazing to watch students grow more and more missions minded. I was also invited to speak in a class and had some great conversations with students about calling and ministry. 📚
Charleston, SC
After CIU, Cat and I traveled to Charleston to serve a church during their Mission Conference. We taught in both the Children and Youth ministries, helping students understand Bible translation and what it really means to follow God as a missionary. Watching kids and teens light up with curiosity and courage was a huge joy for both of us.
We also spoke to the congregation, joined a panel, and spent intentional time praying with church members over lunch as they discerned where God might be leading them. It was a full, refreshing weekend, and we left encouraged by a church eager to be part of God’s global mission. 🌍
Even with all the traveling, nothing comes before family time. It remains our top priority, always. So you already know the drill. Video Time!
Something amazing is happening around the world. Communities from Cameroon to Rwanda are encountering Scripture in their own language for the very first time, and the transformations are unbelievable. Each newsletter we want to highlight a Bible translation project from around the world. Since Catherine recently traveled to Thailand, it feels fitting to spotlight a project from there. Join us in praying for our brothers and sisters who are still waiting to receive God’s Word in their language.

The Thai Chronological Bible Translation Deaf team is translating Bible passages in video format in three parts: knowing God, following God and serving God.
After completing the first two, they’re now starting the third with 800+ verses from Acts, the Epistles* and Revelation. The team is also preparing monthly online devotionals linked to the translations.
Khet, a member of the translation team, has chosen to follow Jesus and be baptized!
Four Deaf participants joined the community feedback session in late March and gave encouraging input.
Smooth preparations for the upcoming celebration of the translated Scripture portions and active participation by the church.
Renewed energy for the translation consultant — a highly trained translation and Bible scholar — to carefully review the draft for accuracy and clarity.
Strength and efficiency for the translation team to press forward and continue to make steady progress on the work.
Smooth communication during the upcoming community feedback session as the consultant in Europe participates by video call.
Effective input from the community to improve the quality of the translation draft.
