After a close call with French existentialism in college, I promised myself I would never waste my time with Jean-Paul Sartre’s notorious play, No Exit, famously known for redefining hell for anti-Christian intellectuals.
Turns out I was wrong on that.
Paris, May, 1944, at the height the Nazi occupation, French Marxist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre staged his play, No Exit, which depicted three degenerate characters—two females and a male—who came to realize that not only were they dead, but they were doomed to torment each other by stupidly, narcissistically, and tediously talking past one another for all eternity. Sartre’s most celebrated line was, “Hell is other people.”
And no, I have never seen that ridiculous play, but half an hour into Tucker Carlson’s two-hour interview of Hunter Biden, I realized that’s exactly what I was watching. It was No Exit for the has-beens. And then it dawned on me, it’s not just those two. There’s a heap of them, and they’re all trying to lure us into their inglorious fate.

Yeesh. And full disclosure, I have been on Alex Jones’ podcast three times since 2024. I was on Real America’s Voice with Brian Glenn at CPAC 2024. I rooted for Joe Kent for Congress. I rooted for MTG for Congress. Massie, not so much. In September 2024, I attended a high-energy MAGA rally featuring Tucker, Jack Posobeic, and Alex Jones in Reading, PA, with my friend Robert Burgoyne. Until a few months ago, I would have been thrilled to have been interviewed by Tucker or Megyn. Candace, not so much.
That was then, this is now. And the now is way past weird as this clip from Tucker’s interview with Hunter demonstrates.
There’s nothing I can say to this. It’s so self-serving and false by both men, it’s pointless to debate or even discuss. After eight days it has tabulated 1.1 million views on YouTube. I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
Moving on.
To save you the ordeal of watching the whole interview, I can say that both men “manned up” and admitted their addictions, though that strikes me as more of a technique to garner sympathy than an attempt to offer any insight or lessons learned. Sobriety requires honesty and humility. Neither of these men, in my opinion, are honest and humble enough to have mastered their addiction.
Now, here’s more psycho-babble of Hunter dancing dishonestly around his and his father’s crimes, all with Tucker’s assistance.
Tucker offers us “kind of implicated” instead of guilty; and “the end of a long cycle of mediocrity,” instead of one of the darkest, most evil periods in our country’s history. That’s what he used to say when I agreed with him, and he was right.
Then Hunter says “I’ve owned up” in place of I’m covering for my dad’s crimes as we speak; and “stupid,” but not criminal, and best of all, his “I did not trade on access” obfuscates I helped my dad commit treason.
Please. Hunter, I’ve published two books listing the multitude of your and your father’s crimes, and now the National Archives is in on the coverup. The truth is on my side, not yours, and it’s only a matter of time. Nothing says that more emphatically than this desperate attempt at narrative control.
As for talking past each other, this sequence is gold. Hunter tries to pin Tucker into a confession about his 2024 work against the Democrats and gets a face full of 2023 Mar-a-Lago raid by Joe Biden’s FBI. And yet, neither “truth teller” identifies Joe as the author of that crime.
Are you buying this nonsense from Tucker? I’m not. I’m not sure who he’s hoping to influence or impress, but this level of fakery is unsustainable. There is, of course, a motive to this performance. That rears its head in the next clip, which is the last bit I’ll subject you to. Apologies for the mini-interruption at the commercial break.
First of all, there’s no way I’m reading Hunter’s Substack as anything but propaganda. And his brief reproach of Tucker “let’s just stick to me” is his only moment of honesty. Ah, but that’s all he’s capable of.
That’s what we get from the Bidens: A dash of honesty in a huge soup of lies. Tucker and the has-beens follow the same recipe.
As for Tucker, he and his crew are now locked in on what I call ABTI: Always Back To Israel. Not sure why, but that’s their obsession.
“It came from the Israelis,” says Tucker. Do I believe him? No. Why? Because one of Joe Biden’s key advisors throughout his Ukraine days, both as vice president and president, was Israel-born Amos Hochstein, a Middle East energy expert, whom I refer to in my Case to Impeach book for his classified work with Joe and Hunter. An ex-IDF soldier who gave up his Israeli citizenship when he moved to the U.S., Hochstein was a Tony Blinken/State Department asset.
Let me repeat that, Amos Hochstein was a Tony Blinken/State Department asset who backed Joe’s “work” in Ukraine and the Middle East. Here he is on AF2 with Joe for his December 2015 trip to Ukraine to fire the Ukrainian prosecutor. Hunter was in contact with Hochstein days before departure.
After Joe was fraudulently elected in 2020, Hochstein moved up the ladder and more directly into Joe’s orbit. So, no, Tucker, nice try. By October 2020, with Amos Hochstein in the mix, Israel was way beyond needing your help with an influence operation to drag Joe.
Finally, why is Israel hater Candace Owens in my headline? Because Hunter and Tucker kicked off the interview by praising her effusively. They gushed about her so unnaturally, it could only be defensive. Thus, she was the honored guest who didn’t have to be seen to be included.
Back to No Exit. What gave Sartre’s play its haunting power was its staging: Three people, confined forever in perpetual conflict in a nondescript cell. For the audience, the play was dialogue, dialogue, dialogue. There was no action, no external stimulation or distraction. No one ate or drank. They were in a state of being forced to endure each other forever with no hope of escape or relief. Their hell was of their own making.
So it goes with our has-been podcasters and politicians. Clearly, not one of them is in a happy place. They’ve lost the spotlight. They’ve fallen out of favor. They’ve chosen pessimism over optimism. They have stopped ascending and are now descending.
Of the lot, only Tucker approaches self-realization when he admits to tripping over his ego. But then, he doubles down and continues dishing out his lies about Trump. The one flash of honesty I saw on his part came when he introduced an ad for his sponsor, the life insurer Ethos, by saying something to the effect of, if your life isn’t going so great, maybe it’s time to think about life insurance.
Wow.
In my last Substack, I talked about praying for Joe Biden to confess his crimes and treasons, and I have been doing that. Well, now I’m adding this group to my list. And that prayer is: God, please help all these has-been podcasters and politicians understand the saving grace of sharing with their audience a full and honest disclosure of how they have trespassed against You, us, and themselves.
