Chris Lyons · Notes From the In-Between

When you set ambitious goals; everyone will think you’re crazy and doubt you until you make it a reality, or at least come close.

For years I spent 9-12 hours per day, if not more learning about crypto and absolutely everything I needed to make money trading. It started with Ethereum NFTs in 2021 and lead to Solana Memecoins in 2023.

Where next? Not sure, but since 2021 I spent every single day building my brand and learning what I needed to change my life.

When I finally started hitting wins while the market was hot, people looked on with envy assuming I got lucky.

Sure, luck plays a role. But I believe you can create some of your own luck through consistency, obsession, and clear goals.

Why am I telling you this?

Because it’s easy to forget how much time, effort, and energy success actually takes especially when you’re grinding with no visible return. Progress often feels invisible... until it doesn’t.

Good things happen when you have a clear goal and a clear plan broken down into small, daily actions.

Here’s what that looked like for me:

Make $X trading coins on Solana

  • Find 1–5 accounts on X or Telegram that post consistent, quality insights

  • Learn the basics of chart reading

  • Start a Telegram channel to document my journey and build community

  • Connect with quality traders and ask to join their private chats

  • Journal everything — wins, losses, lessons (that journal is now my guide)

The funny part? I never wrote any of that down at the time — I was just fully obsessed with the outcome. But had I been more intentional, I probably would've gotten there even faster.

My goals are now split between two areas:

  • Personal — Health and fitness

  • Business — Growing my personal brand, Built Daily, and Otties

If you want success in anything, you need to track it.

If I want to gain weight and build muscle, I need to log my meals, supplements, and gym days — simple as that.

Here’s what that daily plan looks like:

  • Take vitamins and supplements

  • Log all food and drink

  • Track workouts

  • Consume positive content to stay focused

The lesson is simple:
Define your goals clearly. The more specific, the better. Then break them down into daily/weekly steps and let the Built Daily mindset take care of the rest.
