Parts of Road Trip were inspired by my own paternal grandmother, who immigrated to America from Ireland in 1913.

And another part of the plot was inspired by my longtime fascination with old family portraits. Seeing an auction listing for a gorgeous portrait of famed “Golden Guinness” sister Oonagh Guinness gave me an idea.

I’m excited for you to meet the Dunigan sisters and embark on an epic road trip with them—to Ireland, to their family roots, and to a mysterious crime that occurred years ago—that will entertain you for miles.
