I spent the last week building a new app.

I took what I learned from my first app, 📱Ritualz, and built another app called, 📱Expensif (check it out and give me feedback!). I’ve been using Claude Code lately and it’s been incredible for me. What’s been really helpful is enforcing a good structure to the code so that the AI can work within those guardrails that I set upfront. ‘Good’ code structure is subjective but I’ve never been more in love with BLoC & Cubits. The extra boilerplate is actually so helpful for cleaner code organisation. Anyway..

My main goal is to monetise these apps through:

• admob (made first few ad revenue dollars in 1st month)

• subscriptions (around 10ish paying subs so far)

Of course it’s not only about building, I spend half the time marketing the app through content and social media. Now that both apps are out there for iOS and Android in the wild, I am now receiving feedback from users and also observing the analytics dashboard to see what the users are actually doing.

If you’re reading this.. I genuinely believe that this is an opportunity of a lifetime. Yes AI might take our jobs or kill us in the end but while we’re here I am taking every opportunity to take advantage of such great technology. You should too.
