We’re Really Doing This

Every morning, I hear a cheerful “Hello, Peter!” from one of our students in English. That little voice reminds me: we’re really doing this. We have 18 students partially sponsored and 26 in total. These are kids who wouldn’t have had this opportunity. Even my daughter Penelope is growing, thriving in school, and picking up Spanish every day. I am humbled. Being in the front row watching God’s church provide has been a blessing for me and my family.

We’re no longer an idea. The school is alive with laughter, kids learning about God and English. This began with Pastor Victor’s prayers 30 years ago, and now we’re living it.

We were told getting our 501(c)(3) might take 190 days, but in just one month, we got it! Thanks to the angels God placed in the IRS, we are officially a 501(c)(3), ready to receive tax-deductible donations. This blessing came faster than expected—and it sets us up for what’s next!
