Saturdays like these are simply wonderful. When the weather turns good, the sun comes out, and a whole day stretches ahead with nothing much planned, you can do whatever takes your fancy.
We often head to the Bigton weekend bakery to stock up on delicious crunchy sourdough and a few sweet treats. Today, we decided to take a dip in the sea at St Ninian’s Isle, and the sunshine was absolutely gorgeous. The water was refreshing, and the colours were stunning—turquoise, green, blue, every shade imaginable.
Swimming in the sea felt nothing short of blissful. Knowing that a flask of freshly brewed coffee and a cardamom bun were waiting for us afterwards made it even more delightful.
The afternoon was spent in the garden: cutting the grass, sorting plants in the greenhouse, walking our neighbours’ dog that we look after, and simply enjoying this beautiful day.
