Hello it’s me again, can you believe it? I’m back with another curated list of creators I think you should hire.
Starting off with some content inspo that came across my feed. The @errands.show documents ordinary people getting ordinary (and sometimes out of the ordinary) things done. However, my favorite part of each episode, besides perfect depictions of humanhood, is the original score that accompanies each vignette. As a music lover, this really delights me, especially since each episode gets its own original score by a different composer that gives it its own special feeling.
I recognized the composer on this episode as none other than @nathanialpov, the viral saxophone player that performs in tunnels and parking structures. Maybe you could hire him to score your next campaign content. Reminds me of this creator I love, who I haven’t included in a list since she’s been tapped by Apple and Loewe already but nonetheless, shows the power of great sound design in social.
I also loved that Olivia Rodrigo commissioned artist Chloe Wise for a limited-edition vinyl. This is why I’m always including artists and musicians in my list. Incorporating original art and music in marketing and content brings a certain magic, originality and humanity back into advertising. Something that we desperately need as we continue to work against the forces of AI and algorithms and all of the homogenization it’s breeding.
Anyway, onto the list! This is a female-forward, food-leaning list and I’m not sorry about it.
The list follows this format, numbered in no particular order: Handle Linked to example post | Category or short description | My two cents
@oneweirdplace | Educational/History | Tiana unpacks the absurdity of the world we live in with thought-provoking and extremely shareable history tidbits with expert pacing and editing. I think Tiana is going to continue to blow up with her high quality content, she’s got big views on TikTok as well. It could be really interesting if a legacy brand had her do a deep dive on their history, lore, and early beginnings.
@maceyhoward | Illustrator | A self-described “analog illustrator specializing in people and fashion”, Macey has been creating animations recently that are full of texture and bright colors, frame by frame. A very time-intensive process, but the result is full of character and texture, like the one I linked above. You can check out her about me post for more info.
@awhimsykitchen | Food Design | I label Alex as food design because she creates whimsical works of art in her kitchen, as her handle suggests. She recently blew up (and showed up on my feed) with her Love Island hummus platter, linked above. However, her feed has incredible creations like Potato Chip Trees and Olive Oil Pools, making her a creator to watch. I think this content and her unique creativity is the perfect recipe (heh) for food/drink brand social content. A pickle-themed summer party platter for Grillo’s, a smoked fish potato chip tree for Fish Wife, for example.
@cassieg___ | Humor | A hear me out one. Cassie is hilarious and if you hire her, I don’t want a scripted ad. I want a shoe brand to do a collab with her where they send her a few pairs of shoes, and she does her usual content to see which shoes she likes best for flying, because that’s what she’s doing.
@sophiasnacksNYC | Food | This one is bit more personal since I love tuna melts and clearly my fyp knew that. I watched her entire series of trying the best tuna melts in New York City and I can tell the popular episodes are giving her lots of momentum and new followers every day, if only for the divisive nature of tuna. Not only that, her fast-paced editing and descriptive voiceovers really pull you in. Looks like Grillo’s may have tapped her recently but I think there’s lots of room for different types of food/drink collabs, both local to New York City and national DTC consumer brands.
@laurenreneeee1 | Outdoor/Lifestyle | Lauren lives a life full of adventure and one “with no limits”, in her own words. Along with TikTok and Instagram she does more long-form vlog content on her YouTube channel as well. She’s inspiring and joyful, always getting outside and trying new things. Her outdoor fits are so good. She’d be a great creator for an outdoor-leaning fashion or accessory brand.
@xoxoannakwan | Anna kwan | Food & Art | The joy and connection between the chefs and Anna when she draws their food is touching. Anna puts care and passion in her love for food and her drawings. She recently drew one of her favorite servers and it was so sweet! She loves sharing meals, immersing herself in a place and its people, and she also understands great editing, interesting angles, and capturing the human spirit. In my opinion, a 5 star creator to work with. Note I’ve also linked her Substack above which could be a strategic multi-channel activation.
@uglygirlsworld | Lifestyle/Fashion | Rae is one of those naturally cool girls that sets trends, but also nails online trends too, in her own way. Her monthly favorites are highly popular, and I think the right way to go about this would be to gift her a product that she genuinely starts using, or be a brand she already loves to make it the most natural fit.
@kaiacreativehouse | Film | On the theme of brands hiring in-house video creators, I think Kaia certainly fits the bill. Seeing as she’s building a creative studio, you could hire her as a consultant to produce a series or piece of content that leans heavily on cinematic storytelling, which she does incredibly well. Her natural talent shines through, with the recent linked video garnering 2.3MM views and growing. However, I do have a note that the voiceovers in english on some videos I believe are AI because she’s french, living in Paris, so I noticed the voices didn’t match. I don’t think that takes away for her propensity for pacing, storytelling, and capturing attention, but something I wanted to flag. A telling comment on one of her recent videos: “Why do I see better movies on TikTok than on TV?!”
@lenorenolanryan | Food/Drink | Lenore makes approachable recipes but I’m really drawn to her charm and quality of videos. She gets consistent views and engagement, and her recipes are easy to follow. Looks like she collaborated with AllRecipes recently, but I would opt for a brand tag (with proper disclosure of course) in one of her normal videos vs. a collab post. Or even better, invite Lenore to your content studio to cook something up together!

Until next time.
Disclaimers:
PAY CREATORS FAIRLY. Never expect free work, we don’t live in a ‘product for post’ world anymore.
I’m aware of my internet bubble, but I aim to dive outside of it to attempt to plug all different types of creators and walks of life.
I am a 34 year old woman living in the US so most of these recs will definitely fall in the gen z/millennial demographic in the US, but not always.
My creator recs will mostly be on TikTok, Instagram and sometimes YouTube, but there may be other platforms featured.
These are my personal opinions. I am in no way paid, associated or sponsored by anyone in this list including their agencies, unless I explicitly say so.
