A bit of a different nosebag this morning because I feel at such a…well, I was going to say crossroads…but I don’t think that’s the right word, because that implies I don’t know which road to take, when in fact, I’ve never felt clearer. It’s as if all the fingers and hands and arms of the universe that had been flailing wildly around for so long have all suddenly calmed and pointed in one clear direction and said in a deep, melifluous voice: This Way. And I want to tell you all about it because if the nosebag is about ‘everything I’ve been reading, thinking and writing about this week’, then I’d be lying if I didn’t say it was a hundred percent this.
Today is the day that, a while ago, I had high hopes might bring news of The Body Myth being a Sunday Times Bestseller, and I don’t have to check the papers to know that this won’t be the case. As well as further explaining this, I want to tell you about various other things that are happening in my life that seem, on paper at least, negative or even disastrous, but are in fact having the effect of energising me and galvanising a million thoughts and ideas into one clear vision. And I hope this inspires you too, if you’ve had a week of lemons, to make yourself a big fat G&T and toast your absolutely brilliant resilience.
