First off, I want to shout out all the amazing mothers out there working hard to raise the future. Your love, sacrifice, and strength don’t go unnoticed. ❤️

Mother’s Day has always been complicated for me. I lost my mother and my grandmother when I was still a young man, so for a long time this day felt heavy, like a reminder of what I didn’t get enough time with. But over the years, it’s also become a day that helps me hold on to them: a reason to speak their names, tell their stories, and keep their love alive in the way I move through the world.

I attached a song from an EP I dedicated to my late mother and grandmother. It features my aunt retelling the day my mother was born. This one is really special to me, so I wanted to share it here. If you want the whole EP you can tap here.
