I’ve been sharing about it for a while now. I created my own SERP-based Keywords Clustering script that takes in a list of Keywords, and create Keyword Clusters.

Think of each Keyword Cluster as a set of keywords/search queries that could rank on a single page in Search Engines.

This means, that when you create a page, you might want to make sure you capture all the search intents of the search queries/Keywords within a Cluster.

This script could help you save so much time during their keyword research, and mapping process. Even if you don’t know a lot about the business domain you are researching, the Clusters put things in perspective for you.

The behind-the-scenes high-level architecture looks something like this.

I’ve created a full video explaining How to use this script. But I also wanted to highlight the use case of using serverless functions such as Google Cloud Function to host your valuable logic and potentially generate revenue streams from the same.

Here is the output of the keyword list I ran through.

It was a list of around 540 keywords, and the script narrowed it down to 28 Clusters.

The beauty is if I focus on the first Keyword Cluster, “Janitorial Inspection Software” then the list of keywords in the cluster looks like this.

Thanks to SERP-based Keyword Clustering now I know “Custodial Inspection Software” has a similar intent to “janitorial inspection software”. I don’t know much about this field of business, so this helps me quickly get on my feet when it comes to digesting a huge list of keywords during my keyword research process.

I hope you will be able to use this script in your workflow, and it adds value to your work and saves you time.
