Today is the end of Fiscal Year 2026, family. Tomorrow begins Fiscal Year 2027. In a way, this is New Year’s Eve.
As we count down to the 250 anniversary of this nation’s founding, and all the complicated feelings this moment brings, June has been a month when we’ve celebrate graduates, when we celebrate Juneteenth, and when we celebrate Pride. We gather as a staff to look back over what we’ve done in the year and look forward to what we want to do about what God is calling us to do. We tell each other what we’ve heard from you. The desire for more connections, for more bible and book studies, for more wisdom to navigate these times. The desire for clear guidance as to what you can do in the time between now and the full coming Reign of God on earth. The desire for more play, more fun, more joy because JOY is resistance and leads to our resilience. Come to the July 12 worship and meeting, so we can hear from YOU. What makes you come alive?
As we close out the year, we can use your help closing our budget strong. If you love what we’re doing, if it matters to you, can you make a tax-deductible donation here by midnight? https://www.middlechurch.org/donate. We can’t do what we do without you!
And beloved, here are some gifts for you.
We love you!!
