Our next (unofficial) MiGirl event is… the Beer Tent at the Cherry Festival on Wed., July 8 from 4-8 p.m. It’s Locals Night! There is a handful of us serving in the tent. Watch for our pink shirts - and get in our line to say hello. Wear pink to represent!!!

Fun was had at our Pedal Pub this month…. Pink poms were shed. Bobby’s will to live was tested. And everyone showed up in pink one way or another.
We opened with not a bar but with chocolate covered cherries at Cherry Republic! We felt powerful (and over 40) to realize our pedal pub could be a foodie tour as well - or instead.
From there, we did Hotel Indigo for a rooftop drink… then one “fire drill” downtown before landing at Silver Spruce Brewing Company - where Two Sons Pizza made an appearance as well. Now that I think about it, we ate more than we drank. That’s my kind of pedal pub!
I inadvertently tagged the photographer Sammy Schaub wrong in the last newsletter. Find the real Sammy here! She helped me out of a bind at 10 p.m. the night before the event - and showed up the morning of the luncheon with less than 12 hours notice - to get the job done with professionalism and laughter.
