What have you been building?

Three weeks of building.

Burnout. Roots. The five people who hold it.

This week, one question.

What would actually change if you did the thing you’ve been circling?

Not the whole plan. The one thing. The move you keep almost making. The conversation you keep almost having. The number you keep almost writing down.

You know which one. Your body knew as soon as I said it.

Here is what I want to name gently before we go anywhere else. There are usually three reasons we circle, and none of them are that you are lazy or unserious. I have watched hundreds of women in build season, and it is almost always one of these three, sometimes all three at once.

One. We are waiting to feel ready.

Ready is a feeling. It doesn’t arrive in the mail. It arrives after the action, not before. The confidence you are looking for is the reward for the move, not the requirement for it. So we sit, and we watch, and we wait to feel something we can only earn by moving.

Two. Reading feels like doing.

And it isn’t. Another podcast. Another book. Another Sunday reset. Another framework, yes, including mine. Consumption feels productive because it’s active. But information you don’t act on quietly becomes evidence that you are the woman who reads about things. High achievers get stuck here more than anyone. We were rewarded for study our whole lives, and now we are studying our way out of the very moves we say we want.

Three. We are managing a room that isn’t in the room.

The husband who might question it. The mother who might worry. The friend who might feel left behind. The peer who might judge. Circling is often a stealth conversation with people who haven’t said a word. And half the time, when we finally have the actual conversation, they do not say what we have been imagining. We have been protecting a relationship from a decision it hasn’t reacted to yet.

Read those again. Sit with the one that made you flinch. That is the one.

Here is the part I need you to hear next. Naming why we circle is grace. Staying there is a choice. Because circling isn’t neutral. Circling is training. You are training yourself to be the woman who almost did the thing. The longer you train that, the harder it is to become anyone else.

I am not saying this to shame you. I am saying it because I have been the woman getting ready to get ready, and I know what it costs. It costs your confidence, quietly. It costs your calendar, loudly. It costs your sense that you are the one running your life.

So here is what I want to offer you this week. No more framework. No more reading. One conversation.

Book a discovery call with me. Twenty minutes. We look at where you are, we figure out which of my programs actually fits your season, and you leave the call with one action step you can implement this week. Not next quarter. This week.

That is the whole ask.

I am not going to tell you here which program you’d land in, because that is the point of the call. What I can tell you is that if you have been reading these letters and something has been rising, this is how we find out what it is.

If you have been in build season for a while and it is starting to feel like circling season, this is the yes.

You were made to flourish. But friend, flourishing is a verb. It only counts if you do it. Michelle
