Hello, Readers!
It’s spooky season, and if you’ve been with me a while, you know this is my favorite time of year. The weather is cooling and the leaves are changing and everything smells of cinnamon and spice. It’s magical!
A lot has happened over this past year, much of it terribly invasive to the creative process, but the fall breezes seem to be blowing away the fog and I’m back to writing once again. Yay!
While I work on book 6 of the Green Beret series (Saving Isla), I have a book deal for everyone. From October 16th through the 20th, Exposed: The Education of Sarah Brown, book one of my steamy international crime series, will be FREE to download on Amazon. Exposed has romance, intrigue, and high-stakes drama all wrapped up in one thrilling tale. And the thrills continue throughout the series of 4 books. As it stands, it’s a complete series, but there is room for more. In fact, I love the characters so much that I outlined two more books for the series. I guess that’s the mark of good character development, when you can’t stop thinking about them and what they’re up to.
In the meantime, and between writing the next chapters, I’ll be visiting a pumpkin patch, looking for haunted houses, and enjoying a few daytrips into the Texas Hill Country. Might go grab some fresh apples up in Fredericksburg. Plus, they have a really old cemetery… Exploring is my idea of fun. It also gets my muse excited because exploration leads to stories. I mean, have you read some of my ghost stories here on Substack? Not fiction, either, but firsthand accounts. Wild stuff! (Check them out here.)
