Ethylene is a natural plant hormone emitted by many fruits and vegetables, including bananas, avocados, apples, tomatoes and mangoes.

Independent testing found high levels of ethylene adsorption from d2p ethylene-adsorber formulations, helping to reduce the concentration of ripening gas within the package.
