New Name? Who's This?!

So, if you have been reading this Substack from the beginning (thanks, all three of you!), you’ll note I changed the name.

Why?

Because, despite my vainglorious tendencies and occasional delusions of grandeur, I thought having my Substack “Michael’s Substack” a bit…too on-the-nose.

(Not to mention a bit unoriginal.)

So, I workshopped a few (there are way too many “Uncommon Sense” Substacks, BTW) but landed on…

The Diasporican Writer!!! (I also didn’t want to take away or confuse anyone looking for a very talented chef, DIASPORICAN.)

Hope you like the new name! I’m also hoping to write more and about diverse topics that speak to me.
