In the first encounter with the deep self, the “little self” experiences a stillness or an ecstatic experience so vibrant and so imaginative that a person would give everything they have to add to the meaning and beauty of the world. Then the presence of the Self becomes a repeated experience, and a person realizes there is a deep feeling that connects to something meaningful, and it starts to happen more often. In the third type of encounter with the deep self, it ceases to be a temporary presence and becomes more of a constant companion nearby.
